A little about me...

I'm a handsome SBM with a job, my own home, college degree, good credit and raised my two daughters as a single dad. Are those not good qualities?

However, I'm single. I've been dating off and on over the past 6 years but nothing serious. I have always treated the women I dated with kindness and respect. I sent flowers just because, I opened doors because I thought chivalry was not dead, and I always communicated my feelings to them, stayed completely honest, and provided an ear for them when they wanted to get things off their chest. I would even call them during the day just to let them know I was thinking about them. I'm not the party and club type. I don't have a lot of female friends because that special woman needs to know she's the only woman I am focusing all my attention on. All that being said, what is it that women want if what I am offering is not it? I've run across women that have more game than men or they take my kindness for weakness.

About the one I'm looking for...

I'm posting here in hopes of meeting that one woman that will keep me from becoming like the majority of men women complain about. I'm interested in SBFs 30 to 45. Kids are fine because I have two myself. Please have your partying and clubbing days behind you. I want to settle into something long term which means spending time together. That's hard to do if you are gone every Fri and Sat night. Someone give a good black man some hope.

I'd just like to add...

I'm in the process of relocating from NC to MD and will be going back and forth until all my business is completed in NC. That means some weekends I'll be in NC which will impact time together should I meet someone and develop chemistry. Hopefully, in due time, you'd be comfortable enough to take some of those trips to NC with me until I can finish relocating.
