I grew up in the military and from that loved to travel and learned to adapt well. Always an optimist, I love challenges in my life in whatever shape they come and love learning something new. I am warm and welcoming though reserved, traditional and practical, opinionated (in a non-aggressive and non-argumentative way) and adventurous, especially when I have someone with me. I'll try anything at least once, unless creepy crawly or slithering things are involved. I love to smile and laugh! It's the little moments and the sly humor that I appreciate most in people. My favorite season is fall because you can smell the crispness in the air and the fires in the fireplace and I love the beauty in the changing of the leaves that signals while something is coming to an end, there will be something new around the corner. My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving since that tends to be when most of my family is able to come together (we truly enjoy each others company) and of course there is always good food too. When not with family, I feel most at home in Colorado where even in the city, you're still in a bit of the country; I love the peace that surrounds me and the view of the mountains from almost anywhere just can't be beat!
