I will be getting my Bachelors in May 2012 and my Masters the following year. I believe it’s important to be honest in a relationship so with that said I must tell you upfront I am legally separated. I have already filed for divorce and it should be final around Sept 2011. I have no ill feelings about it. It was a necessary step that needed to be taken in order for us both to be happy. I am honest and I will devote my time to building a relationship. I believe that while out on my own if I'm not thinking about my partner then something is wrong. Meaning that while in a store shopping for myself I tend to find myself in the men's section picking things out for my partner as well. Again this has always been taken for granted and never appreciated. I feel that sex does not have to be the only thing two people have going on in a relationship. Take for instance my sister and her late husband. They fell in love over ten years ago and finally got married about 5 years ago. He fell ill to cancer almost 3 years ago and after he was diagnosed he no longer could have sex with her. They spent the last 3 years just enjoying each other’s company and the love they shared. It was the most beautiful thing I have ever witnessed. I want a life like that, minus the ending of him passing away.
