I enjoy living life; easy-going; humorous. I have a well-mannered 8 yr old daughter. I'm in college pt for Cultural Anthropology. I have no issues whatsoever, no health issues, baby-daddy problems...nada. Everyone in my life shows respect; if the respect is not there, then neither is the person. Just my daughter and I live together, I have my own vehicle, and I've worked with the same company for 8 yrs. This is the serious side of me. Once we get past the important stuff, I love to laugh and smile; plz, don't ask me why I'm laughing, just be happy that I am! LOL I live an "out of the box" life-style, meaning I will try things in life due to curiousity. If I don't like it, I won't try it again... Ex. Skiing, skydiving, foods. One recent good movie I just watched was, "In time", starring Justin Timberlake. I thought it was an awesome movie.

First there is God, I love to have fun, I like to hear my man and my family or friends tell me how wonderful the meal they just ate taste so-o-o good, I like to cuddle and be romantic, love to watch movies, go to plays, concerts(jazz mostly) take walks on the beach, I workout 3-4 times a week, and I tend to get a little serious because I'm task oriented, I'm moviated about things I want in life. I believe in hard work. That's why I work hard and I play hard. Everything has it's place. I'm not for everyone and I know everyone not for me. With me you can bit off more than you can chew. I'm a down to earth sister and don't like to play games. Oh, can play but it's not my preference. I'm the real thing. I love God and he's the center of my world.

I am a mother of a 5 year old little boy. He is the love of my life, next to God. Married, but separated, pending divorce. I am at a point in my life in which I am ready to open the door to new possibilities. My passion in life... I strive to make myself the best that I can be at anything that I do. I instill that same quality in my son, as my mother pushed that value on to me and my siblings. I am a U.S. Army Veteran and I served in Kuwait. Currently, I am working and studying to earn my Master's in Mental Health Counseling. My dream has always been to have a private practice in which I could provide counseling services on a sliding fee scale to those who needed help but were not able to afford it, and I will make it happen! What makes me a great partner... I feel like I should be treated like a queen! But then, to show my appreciation, I turn around and make my guy feel even better than he makes me feel. In my world, that makes a happy relationship. To be honest, I love to spoil my guy. It just makes me feel good to make him happy. If he is deserving, he will be a happy man.

I'm a spontaneous woman raised with Caribbean values, which I still uphold on a contemporary platform. I love to travel, volunteer, cook, read, write, converse and explore. I love photography, history, music, comedy and abstract art. I would like to connect with someone who complements me well. I love the finer things, but at the same time, what makes me the most happy are the simple things.

I would choose peace of mind, good music and a cup of tea over a complicated million dollars with a side of drama. I'd choose an experience over something materialistic. Ii am very independent laid-back respectful woman who seems to be very demanding and bossy so i am told. i do not like planning my personal activates but have to because i have kids. i adopted my niece's twin boys; mother & brother help a lot. i am the baby girl of 4 older brothers who never had the patience to wait for them to do anything for me so i would learn to do it myself. i am an it manager at a local company who as nothing but men working for me. i am not very domestic but i do bring home the bacon and can slap it on the grill. i believe in god but am not very religious.

i love almost all styles of music but not to any extremes. country, no blue grass or whinny; love rap w/no extreme foul mouth; rock w/no screaming; jazz; r&b; frank s.; love spanish (don’t understand words). i have taken up playing drums just this past year. i really enjoy it even though a truly green. my boys also started just after me at the beginning of the school year. so we have three drum sets in the house.

i love sports, especially football. i can throw a spiral, play you one-one in b-ball, throw a strike and fall flat on my face if i attempt to put on ice skates.
