I Love the Lord First. I enjoy laughing and smiling, but can be serious when I need to be. Life is too short, so I try to stay drama-free. I love traveling to new places with hopes of seeing every state in the US. And did I mention that I'm a big Cowboy Fan. Love me some football. I'm always hearing about this site, & for a long time I was apprehensive about it, but I thought I'd give it a try. I'm Cali born & raised, living in & loving the beautiful city of San Diego. I don't go out much, but not because I don't like to, I'm fairly new to the city, & when I'm with friends I love going places & having a good time. One of my favorite activities is bowling. I'm pretty easy-going & very drama free. Love to laugh & have fun & being silly is one of my main traits. I work hard, so at the end of the day I enjoy being able to relax with some music, good food and reading. It would be nice to go out sometimes after work for a nice dinner or just a nice evening out. I have a degree in Graphic Design so I'm an art lover. But I would have to say that my favorite type of art is music. One thing I love about living in this city is that there are so many things to do here so close by. I love the beach, I love scenery & I just enjoy being able to go out & have fun.

In my mind, I am simply a good person with a generous spirit and fair intentions. I could write an epistle about who I am but the truth is, I believe there is a thing called the "unique pair" and once you are in a relationship there is a dynamic that captures and reflects the combination of both personalities. I also believe that this dynamic is specific to the two people involved in the particular exchange and is the same as no other two people. In light of this, I dare not mislead you with elaborate descriptions of me. Well....where should I start? I'm just me...very real down to earth, and looking for the same. I joke about 50% of the time...probably more. If you have no sense of humor, I'm not the one for you. I like spontaneous adventures like roads trips, or just hanging out at home bbqing....well let me clear that up...watching you BBQ, lol Ok, your money can't buy my love, and I'm not trying to use mine to buy yours. I am a self-sufficient career woman...not rich, but making it like the next person. I don't need a man, I want one. Eventually, I will come to need him like I need a glass of water when I'm really thirsty! I noticed a lot of you guys say you don't want drama. Well, life is drama...and there will probably be lots of it, especially at the beginning as you learn how each other ticks. Life without drama would be quite boring! I am drama baby!!!!!; If I'm happy, you know it and if I'm not, you REALLY know it! Trust me, you want to keep me happy, Hahahaha!!! Speaking of happy, sunny days really make me happy, dreary days make me want to curl up on the couch under my favorite plush blanket with my bowl of Subway soup, and watch Bonanza! Can you make me a fried bologna sandwich to go with that?

I often wonder what kind of person I would have been had I not married so young? There is so much I could not experience. But, despite this, my eyes are still wide open! I love women. In fact, my idea date would be like this...a cool breezy overcast day, a little drizzle- meeting a woman for the first time spending the entire day enjoying the city and getting to know one another. I have always appreciated women who can enjoy men without being judgemental, critical and inundated with pre conceived notions. Sistas-I feel- loose-out to lots of wonderful black men because of this. If it's not you don't worry about it. If it is, you know what I'm talking about.

My passion in life is to enjoy women, life and the rest of what I hope is a positive journey. I have suffered enormus pain and tragedy in my life but raising my sons on my own has kept me focus. I think about David and Daniel every minute of the day. However, I have another passion and that is you. My mother raised me to respect and appreciate women.
