My love of travel has brought me to Phoenix. I am originally from the south, and we are as Frankie Beverly says we are! I do miss my culture and my people. I've had an on again, off again relationship with this site. I've met people some good and some not so good. Well, here I am again. I'm a bit of a home body but like to get out when I can. I would rather spend some quiet time with someone special. I love to laugh, listen to music (old school to my core), watch college sports (basketball and football) and MMA.

Recent events have made me realize that life is too short and I need to make the effort to truly live my life not just let it happen. I am an intelligent, honest, caring woman, who wants to share her life with the right man.

I love a hearty laugh and just having fun with someone, I love the Lord and am passionate about serving in church through music. I love singing and writing and consider myself a creative person.

I like going to the movies, dinner, people watching, concerts, sporting events, spending time with my family, going to my son's football games. I can cook but really not my favorite thing to do if you cook I will clean. Bike riding is a big No-No for me for some reason I can't seem to stay on them. Last year I started working out and ran my first 5K after I had lost 60 pounds. I also am open to trying and going to new places.

What a great experience. I am tenderhearted, compassionate, straightforward person, great listener, very loyal, attentive, trustworthy & also very curious, I know that most people find it hard to move out of their comfort zone but because I'm curious I move out easily. I have emotional stability feeling very deeply. I deal with joy, fear, anger and happiness with a level that is appropriate to the moment. I think that I have a great balance between emotional expression and emotional control. I am very reliable and dependable. I love teaching and helping others. Always willing to explore the unknown that is the adventurous side of me. Going to the beach, heading for to the theater or settling in for a romantic night are some of the things I like to do. I am very outgoing, I like to think of myself as full of life, love to be romantic, holding hands, kissing, snuggling next to one another whether in conversation or quietness. I'm happy with my life, two kids and my career and I love surrounding myself with others that feel the same. Hiking, quick day trips and Barnes and Noble are my therapy. Finding unique places to eat that have live music is a favorite of mine. I've worked hard and focused on my career and kids for so long, I'm ready to have a life again. Let's play!
