Hi I'm new to this so plz be patient. I'm an army brat and have lived in quite a few places and still like travel. I like live entertainment and all types of music as long as the music isn't too loud. Really enjoy plays and other live performances, reading, art shows, food festivals, museums, college sports and movies. Love being outdoors even though I have hay fever. I'm spiritual but not religious, opinionated but not stubborn, adventurous but not reckless. Some would call me aloof but really I'm shy but warm up quickly. I do best in small groups. I don't like predjudiced people of any race. I love diversity and trying new things. I'm learning to play the cello and acoustic bass. I'll never play like Yo Yo Ma or Me'Shell Ndegeocello but I've always loved the sound. I'm eccentric, eclectic, and a little nerdy. I find humor in almost everything. It's easier for me to smile than it is to frown. I like all types of food except chitlins and cooked spinach...I'm really a fat man trapped in a thin body. I'd rather be in a restaurant, cafe, sports bar, jazz or piano bar anyday than in a loud dimly lit club. I like to hug and hold hands but don't like being clingy. As you can tell, I like to talk but understand the need for quiet time.

09May2012 So, I keep hearing about this site & decided to check it out. I was in the military for over 5 years & got out back in early April. Just looking to see what's out there & what's available to me (yes, they are not the samething). I've always been one of those nice guys finish last types, but I was raised with respect so I'll find my queen eventually. A few things; I love music of different types but mostly something with an up beat I can dance to. With that being said I love dancing (I told I'm pretty good, but I think I could learn a lot more). I perform poetry & spoken word (usually off top if asked). Oh another thing I'm big on conversation in person sometimes phone but not on typing/txting, call me old school. I use them just don't I can hold as good of a conversation as if in person.
