I will be new to the Seattle area after spending 11 years in Rhode Island. Depending on how long the drive takes me, I should be there by the first week of February. I'm a born and raised New Englander (I will still bleed green for my Celtics even on the west coast, ) but I felt like it was time for a change. After almost 7 years of working with children with mental health issues, I needed to step away for a while. I eventually want to work with kids again in some capacity down the line. I'm making the move to go to pastry school even though I live in a state with a great school for that. I just need to put some space between me and this state.
