Ummmm what can I tell you? I'm a man thats intelligent, warm hearted, sensitive, sincere, down-to-earth, funny, love Earl Grey tea, enjoy good conversation, love my friends, like discovering new things and be able to share that moment with someone. I'm a closet jock, meaning I enjoy watching football, baseball, basketball and tennis (used to play tennis tournaments). Something I haven't done in awhile is going camping. I use to camp a couple times a year in New York's Finger Lakes and Adirondacks way back when. Looking forward to taking a drive upstate and do a weekend of camping.

I moved back to NYC (late 2007) from Houston. I'm a senior designer for a small firm that does design/advertising for museums and the performing arts) and I also freelanced as an illustrator since '89. Doing artwork for magazines, book covers among other stuff.

I'm at a point in my life where I have good friends now, a fun job, a comfortable place. The time is right to meet someone and make space in my life for someone. He doesn't surround himself with things, or people to shape a false image of himself. My ideal? I work hard and appreciate those times when I can relax. I enjoy cooking, movies, walks along the beach, local travel, Broadway shows, tennis, reading, chess, Monopoly, Scrabble, and on occasion, dining out. I am a single parent of a college student and enjoy driving up to her campus for various events.

Money is not the end all. It is good to get the things you want and need. After that no more importance. My health and love of family, and friends are a lot more important. I am a retired Manager, Architect and Business owner. I spend my time traveling, and visiting my children and grandchildren, of whom I am very proud.
