A little about me...
Hey guys, I have been on this site for a few months. Please say more than "I'm interested in you". Don't just send a flirt. Please. And POST A PICTURE PLEASE. I have an outgoing personality. I work with people with developmental disabilities. I believe in honesty and find it challenging to hurt people feelings. I enjoy a good laugh. I'm only about 5 feet 2 inches tall,so I wear heels all the time. I work a lot, but I'm WORKING on that.LOL

What are you looking for in a partner?
when I joined this site, I had been trying to make something work that just wasn't working. I needed to let that relationship go. And I needed time to do that. I was only looking for penpals. I am now open to more than penpals, but trust me on this, I'm not a fast mover in the relationship department. I will let you know if I'm interested. But the thing is, sometimes some friends becomes more than just friends with TIME. In time I have learned that I desire someone with a positive attitude, who truly cares for mankind. Someone who believes in a higher power and likes to go to church sometimes. Someone that is financially independent. Someone with a sense of humor. Let me repeat that one again. Someone with a great sense of humor. Someone with some energy. Life is too short to sleep all day. I can't believe I said that. I desire for him to cherish me and respect me. And I will do the same.

I'd just like to add...
My son has a father so he doesn't need that...but you can still be a positive male role model for him or for any young black man. My son has been my greatest teacher. I learn from him all the time. I once asked him if he loved me more than other people. He told me that he can't love me more than anybody else just because I'm his mother. He said " God isn't like that. God loves us all the same". He claims he loves everybody the same. What did I learn? I learn not to ask THAT question again. I dab a little in photography (just a little). I've read Steve Harvey's book. He told it all. Women are not complicated. We desire to feel special. We desire attention from that special man. We desire to feel loved. We desire to feel respected. We desire to feel like a woman (just for you). We desire to be by your side, not in front in not behind you, and that's tricky because at the same time we are standing next to you, supporting you, we desire to feel that you can protect us. If I don't give you my number, it doesn't mean I'm not intested. My mom didn't have my number for a long time. And I love her. It actually became a joke between us.
