A little about me...
Above all, I count my blessings & give GOD the praise every day and give thanks that I have my health, great family & friends, and can stand on my own two feet. With that being said however, "living the life like its golden" really is so much better when its being shared with another. My life motto: Make Today Unforgettable!

I have a financially rewarding career that has afforded me some of the luxuries in life but please don't get it twisted, a sista does not let the green run her life. No sir, I'd rather be a happy poor person than an unhappy rich person.

My heroes are my parents and my amazing twin sister who is my best friend. She thought I was joking when I said that I created a profile on here. She asked me "what for? Well, a good friend of mine met the most amazing man on this site, so she suggested that I try it too. So I did.

A few of my fav things...My pet yorkie Eli (he's a hot mess, LOL), Traveling, Cooking, my IPOD, Movies (any genre), trying out new foods, Reading (preferably Ancient Egyptian History). No, I am not a gym rat but I refuse to get fat, ever! Therefore, I stay in shape although, I will sneak in a treat every now and then. (smile) Heck, life is too short.

What are you looking for in a partner?
Don't get nervous (LOL) its not a laundry list, just a few preferences. Heck, as I've gotten older & wiser, I have realized that no one is perfect and that includes me. Never the less, a well balanced man who is ambitious, considerate, has moral & family values, and loves life puts a smile on my face. It also helps if he is looking for a long term relationship. Someone who wants kids, loves his mom, and respects women. Someone who is spiritual (you don't have to be a bible pusher but at least believe in "something"), financially secure (I'm not taking care of a grown man & frankly, you shouldn't expect me to), and has a great sense of humor (yes, be able to tell a joke or two even if they are corny..it helps break the ice). Quite frankly, I love a "go getta" who isn't afraid to make things happen, knows what he wants and knows how to get it. Have a plan! If you know how to cook, that is definately a plus. Creativity is pretty high on the list too. Dinner & a movie is okay but a walk in the park or on the beach, picnic lunches with chocolate-covered strawberries & champagne will really get my attention. Yes, I'm trying to bring ROMANCE back. Wouldn't that be nice?

Now, let's cut to the chase...if you are legally seperated, keep it moving. I don't understand that concept. It urks me. Furthermore, if you do not reside in the state of Florida or a neighboring state, STOP. I do not "do" long distance. If you have a bunch of kids and have never been married, keep it moving as well. Seeking a casual relationship?..then keep it moving too. No athiests please. No pics, no return message. If you see me, then why can't I see you? No flirts. No bookmarking. Get real!
