A little about me...
I'm a 48 year old divorcee with three grown sons (and gone!). I have three wonderful grandchildren who live in Missouri. I recently relocated back to the Chicago area about two years ago from Atlanta and prior to that, Los Angeles. ChiTown is my home town and I love it here with the exceptions of the winters. I am very into health issues -- I have run the past three LA Marathons (well, I didn't do so well, but at least I tried) and I have a body that makes the younger girls scream (can you hear me laughing over here). I have put on about twenty more pounds lately due to some medication but I'm not being conceited to say that I still look very good at the age of 48. I love music (the Count!), concerts, reading (Cornel West is my favorite), making crafts and traveling (Mexico!) I love to cook (and eat) and enjoy some of the simpler things in life, I'm not into huge crowds, strict timelines and demands. I'm honest, hardworking, dependable and am told should have been a comic in my prior life.

What are you looking for in a partner?
I am seeking a long term relationship ... let's face it -- I've had 'my' time 'out there' and after 14 years of divorce I want to become a "family" unit again. Therefore, if you are simply 'playing' on this site then please move on pass me... take care.

I'd just like to add...
I love to work out; cook and eat; read romantic and scifi books. I like the movies but it's no fun alone. My greatest love is my three grandchilden and my three sons ... they make every day of my life a good one. I like crafts instead of store brought presents for holidays and birthdays and I do a lot of scrap booking ... recapuring all these wonderful changes that are going on in my family's life. I love to travel, if not but just a bit aways. I love California and unfortunately due to the death of my Mom and other family members in a horrible auto accident several years ago I relocated to be closer to my family for support I enjoy suba diving and and I love the water. I'm not into pets much but we always had a dog growing up so it's just a matter of time when I move into a larger home with a gated backyard that I'll get a puppy for the grandchildren. I love music... all types (except that 'rap' with a passion. My mother was an entertainer most of her life, recorded several records and we were comfortable with Jackie Wilson, Gene Chandler, Curtis Mayfield, and on and on. That's about it ... interested?
