A little about me...
After ten years on the West Coast, I have relocated back East....not too far from my hometown. I miss the California beaches, but the trade-offs were worth it (That may change when I have to drive in the snow this winter..ugh). The focal points and source of joy in my life are my faith in God, my family (I have an adult son) and friends. My two enemies (aside from rodents and snakes) are stress and drama. I love to laugh and to evoke laughter in those around me. I strive to maintain an outlook of optimism despite the circumstances with which I am faced because strength comes through enduring struggles. My family and friends consider me as confident, smart, witty, stubborn, loyal, and free-spirited. When I am in a relationship, I am passionate, devoted, attentive and supportive. I enjoy indulging my varied hobbies/interests which include music (it keeps me centered), movies, plays, spoken word, comedy clubs, traveling, going to the beach (I love being near the ocean even though I can’t swim), day spas, reading, writing, photography, cooking, dining out, hiking in the mountains, horseback riding, dancing, and cultural activities.

What are you looking for in a partner?
I would like to meet someone local to the DMV area that is physically fit and between 28 and 48 that has similar interest and that can possibly introduce me to some new experiences. I enjoy good conversation and being treated like a lady. He should be successful, caring, good sense of self and values, not a lot of kids(two or less), have a sense of adventure and style. I am a passionate person but it would take the right person to bring that side out. Also I do have a height preference (between 5'10" and 6'4").

I'd just like to add...
I'm not looking for the ruff-neck type. I believe in the three Cs.....chemistry, communication, and compatibility. If you are the stay-at-home type, we will probably not be a good match. I like to balance being at home with a healthy dose of "get out and enjoy life".
