I'm a physically and mentally curious person who is always seeking learning opportunities -- people, places, ideas.

A little more about me: I'm an avid racket sportsman (tennis, racquetball 3-5 times a week), enjoy all kinds of music (including of late, Columbian folk and Brazilian), old movies (and some new). Although I am a technical professional, I'm really an artist at heart: I am a writer, photographer, sketch artist, and although I don't play anymore, a cellist.

I'm divorced, but my marriage was short, and ended over 20 years ago. People who have met me in person tend to question my age -- Be warned: I am a high energy and animated person.

I'm not outwardly competitive, but I compete fiercely with myself.

I seek someone with an open mind, high energy, passion, and a spirit of adventure -- a kid at heart, who is as comfortable alone as with other people.

I consider myself an all around nice guy that treats others the way i would like to be treated, with honesty and respect. I have been divorced for three years and am extremly devoted parent. Between parenting and my career ( stock broker) I find it hard to make time for pursuing relationships but am committed to doing so. I have lived all around the world and country but still like to travel when i can. I love the ocean (Have summer home on Martha's Vinyard)and spend much of my free time there. I think of myself as a Soul Man, spritual but not religious and participate with my local church community as much as possible....Hope to be Baptized this year. My friends would describe me as openminded, caring and generous to a fault. Wheather friends or lover's I take none of the relationships in my life for granted. I am emotionaly available and a good listner. Like most others I deal with the ups and downs of life one day at a time.

I am a down to earth blue collar guy with good values and integraty not judgemental and honest. I'm a one woman man and I don't belive in cheating, otherwise what's the point in having a relationship if your going to cheat. When I'm in a relationship I put 110% of myself into it

of humor, patience, hard working and kindness, all I understand that no one wants to waste
of which are true for the most part… time, but for any relationship to be successful, time is the currency,

I am lovable and charming. yet quiet and reserve. Money is of low importance to me.
I am self employed and doing good. I enjoy great vacations from mountain viewing, to walking the ocean shore. and I also enjoy the love of a great woman by my side. I enjoy dinning and dancing plus a good movie and a nice romantic fire.

In a nutshell I am an easy going 50 year old, retired Navy, Black/Puerto Rican Jew from Brooklyn with a zest for life and music. I believe that we inhabit this earthly plane to treat each other well and to refine our character. It is a waste of time trying to change people. I am an Advanced Dental Laboratory Technician. I awake every morning excited and blessed to have a job that I feel makes a difference in peoples lives. I consider myself "old school", meaning that I enjoy opening doors, walking on the street side, removing my hat indoors and not showing my underwear in public.
