I'm at a comfortable place in my life, the kids are out of the house, and I'm ready to bring someone new into my life. I like concerts, comedy clubs, music, swimming, canoeing and enjoy going to ball games (especially little league). I like to travel. I like exploring caves, I do a little flower gardening and there's always a real or imagined home improvement project looming on the horizon. I'm pretty good with a sewing machine and with a saw. I'm open to new adventures and interests.

I enjoy spending quality time with my family and going to comedy shows. Although I don't particulary like to cook, I can throw down in the kitchen. I love pretty much all types of music and I love to read. I am not very good at basketball, but I will get out and play some ball with my nephews. I like watching sports on TV, but I prefer to watch live.

Greetings, I hope this finds you in good spirits and health. To start, I'm a southerner from Durham, North Carolina currently living in Kansas City Kansas but moved from Alaska in June 05. I'm working for the government as a civilian (yes there are a lot of black people and Christians in Alaska). I'm considered by true friends to be social, somewhat outgoing (don't do the club scene anymore) and open to try new things. I'm a true friend indeed by my actions (ask God he will vouch for me). My interests include (but aren't limited to) finding peace with God, reading, music, black art (really all art but I like Black art), cooking, electronics, computers, human behavior (but only as it pertains to changes I need/want to make with myself, as well as new material for jokes) and movies. I'm well traveled (I love to go places). At this point in my life I'm trying to get quality instead of quantity. I've done allot in my 33 years and now I'm waiting for the someone who is ready for the forever part of friendship/relationships.
