I love children. I often spend time with my niece, nephew, and little cousins and they range from 1 to 9 years of age.

I started a Ph.D. program and completed 2 years. I would like to start a new Ph.D. program in the near future.

In my spare time depending on what place I am in I like to shop, spend time with the children in my life, relax/chill out, work out, read, write, and/or do crafty projects.

On a date I don’t mind going to the movies but I prefer doing activities that will give me the opportunity to talk and get to know the person I am with.

I am a strong black christian 64 yr old semi-retired LPN, (I work 6 days per mo.), I also retired from the U.S. Postal Service with 26 years of service in 1992, I took the early out. Hello everyone! I just really joined this site on a whim, not looking for anyone in particular. By chance that we do happen to encounter each other, know that you've reached a care free, down to earth (cool/laidback, sometimes silly="haha-type"silly-please don't get it twisted), optimistic, goal-oriented, woman who loves to live, laugh and learn. Not much for drama, I tend to avoid it all costs...takes too much time and energy, and it's bit of a distraction, especially when your focused. I love to do a variety of things be it: bowling, shooting pool (billiards), dancing, shopping, reading, listening to music, singing (oh, please believe I am THEE next "shower" American Idol, can you say tone-def, LOL), and enjoying a good laugh every now and then(it's so theraputic/refreshing).
