I have been on this site for quite sometime now, and I've had the experience of meeting some very intriguing guys, though no one has place a special spark in my life, I will continue to try to find that special someone.


In my past relationships I have learned that you have to allow people be there own selves. Give them space to love or miss you, crowding a person is never good. Give all you can in the beginning, and in the middle hopefully there will never be a end. Remember what you did to make them fall in love with you, then time that to the highest power. Realized that "NO" should never be the answer, instead "YES" honey but can we do it later? should. Most of all I learn that there are truly different levels of love and once you think you have reached that top level always know there is room for one more. Learn what that is before you give up.

I am currently remodeling my life situation, here is what I am looking for. I want a guy who has a traditional sense of humor and intellect, someone who has a modern sense of style, one who can afford to live in a contemporary lifestyle. I don't mind antique guys. I am color blind.

Hello Wow....there is so much I can say in such a tiny box.
To start, I love a good convo. If you love to make people smile&have a mature sense of humor then i'm your girl. Life is to short to hold grudges& I want to surround myself with positive people. Those who are willing to listen&those who are willing to teach (hopefully he will be a good teacher). One thing that I admire about myself; i'm versatile. I am more of a home body. Staying home with family&friends (pets included). Club type? Nope but sometimes doing things outside of the house is a plus. Dinner, museums, art shows, antique shopping, zoos, walks in the park. I am willing to try new things...don't laugh but I want to learn how to golf. I am left handed & those who have tried to teach me get frustrated. I'm a 48 year old divorcee with three grown sons (and gone!). I have three wonderful grandchildren who live in Missouri. I recently relocated back to the Chicago area about two years ago from Atlanta and prior to that, Los Angeles. ChiTown is my home town and I love it here with the exceptions of the winters. I am very into health issues -- I have run the past three LA Marathons (well, I didn't do so well, but at least I tried) and I have a body that makes the younger girls scream (can you hear me laughing over here). I have put on about twenty more pounds lately due to some medication but I'm not being conceited to say that I still look very good at the age of 48. I love music (the Count!), concerts, reading (Cornel West is my favorite), making crafts and traveling (Mexico!) I love to cook (and eat) and enjoy some of the simpler things in life, I'm not into huge crowds, strict timelines and demands. I'm honest, hardworking, dependable and am told should have been a comic in my prior life.
