Before I begin, I would like to thank all of the men who leave nice responses/compliments. I read EVERY message and delete 98% of the flirts. I just feel if u took the time to type a msg I can at least read it. If I sense a connection I will respond or if the msg is too adorable. So I thank u all in advance. Moving right along, I have an established career (12 yrs). I am spiritual (I used to be apart of a mega church and got really turned off) so I attend a spiritual center and I am somewhat happy with it. I am very reserved with strangers and co-workers. I crave my time alone after work with the exception of that special someone :) I typically wear African-inspired hairstyles (braids, comb twists, etc). I am almost 39 yrs old and you know what that means lol. No not that lol. I have become accustomed to my lifestyle. And I will not live without what I have become accustomed to. I live a few blocks from the beach. I love to shop and I love the vehicle I drive. My ex husband of 11 yrs told me a few times that I was high maintenance. My response to him was a physical gesture (a shrug). And no that's not why we divorced lol. We are friends and we have a beautiful 12yr old son together. And I guess I will share more later.

I usually say that I'm low maintenance until I'm not. :) I have high (but not unrealistic) expectations for those with whom I surround myself, men and women. But I'm also fun, intelligent, honest, fiercely loyal, introspective (a little too much at times) and personable. I'm a Libra, so I always want to look at both sides of every argument and I try to give people the benefit of the doubt. People say I'm loudmouthed, but I honestly just think I'm opinionated. :) And I try to never be rude, unless someone truly deserves it.

I'm not going to lie, my favorite thing to do is shop. I work in the beauty / eCommerce industry, so fashion is definitely my passion. Whem I'm not shopping, I love a great restuarant and a good bottle of wine, but I'm just as happy chillin' with a beer and a pizza on the couch at home and watching a movie.

Personally, I think I'm pretty darn great.

Wow, who would've thought that I would be meeting new and exciting people on the net. My niece was kind enough to set me up on the sites so that I could meet people through different avenues. So with that in mind, she picked out my pictures to post. The main photo that she choose is not an outfit that I would usually wear. I was suppose to wear it to my girlfriends corset birthday party but unfortunately I was only able to wear it for the photo. We'll at least I got a good picture out of it.
